Losing a loved one is never easy, and the announcement of Sheila Elliott's passing on January 9th, 2026, is a testament to the profound impact she had on those around her.
Sheila, formerly Sheila Hanna, of Clonoe, has left behind a legacy of love, remembered by her family and friends. She was a devoted mother to Laura (and Ronan), Aaron (and Amanda), Shea, Ciaran, and James. Her grandson, Oisín, also held a special place in her heart.
Sheila was the cherished daughter of Eddie and Teresa Hanna. She was a beloved sister to Maeve, Eamonn (and Caoimhe), Bronagh (and Dermot), Theresa, Kathryn (and Michael), and David (and Sinead).
Her family invites those who wish to pay their respects to Sheila at Patsy Taggart’s Funeral Home, located at 4a Western Business Park, Coalisland, BT71 4ND. Viewing times will be from 6pm to 9pm on Saturday and from 12 noon to 9pm on Sunday.
The funeral service will be held on Monday at St Patrick’s Church, Clonoe, beginning with a Requiem Mass at 11 am. Following the Mass, the interment will take place in the adjoining cemetery.
Sheila's passing is deeply mourned by her sons, daughter, grandson, father, mother, siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and the extended Hanna and Elliott families, as well as her many friends.
May the Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul.
